Handcrafted in Lancashire

Explore a visual selection of handmade timber pieces, workshop builds, and bespoke signs crafted by Baker's Home Workshop. Every design starts with thoughtful planning and quality timber, finished by hand with precision.

Bespoke wooden signs and personalised gifts

From delicate name signs like the Ayda sign to personalised home décor, I design and make each piece in my home workshop. Every sign is individually cut, shaped, sanded, and finished by hand, with the natural character of the timber left to shine through. Workshop furniture and heavy-duty builds

Not everything I make is intended to leave the workshop. I build benches, storage, stands, jigs, and other workshop furniture around the way I actually work. My mobile workshop cabinet is one example — designed and built from scratch to keep my tools organised and close at hand while I work.

Custom cabinetry and workshop jigs

Precision woodwork extends to custom home joinery and workshop enhancements. From bespoke Shaker-style kitchen doors to integrated router table extensions and accurate machining jigs, each project is designed to maximise functionality and timeless aesthetic appeal.

Workshop tooling

A lot of the tooling in my workshop has been designed and built around the way I work. From table saw and router table additions to custom jigs, fixtures, and storage, I’m always looking for ways to make a job more accurate, repeatable, and enjoyable. If I need something that doesn’t exist, I’ll often just make it myself.

Jack-o'-lanterns

One of the latest projects to come out of the workshop. These wooden Jack o' lanterns were designed, cut, assembled and finished by hand, with different carved faces giving each one its own character. A simple idea that turned into a whole little family of spooky lanterns!

Bespoke kitchen and utility room project

A complete kitchen and utility room project, including handmade replacement kitchen doors, a custom-built washer/dryer and larder cabinet, and a bespoke breakfast bar.

The doors were individually made from timber using hand-cut mortice-and-tenon joints, with each component measured, designed, and built to suit the available space. The project combines traditional woodworking techniques with practical storage and a bespoke finish.

The timberwork shown here is yet to be painted, giving a glimpse of the craftsmanship beneath the finished surface.
